Ooor-da! Ooor-da!! (translation: order! order! ) (imagine please in loud, commanding tone with British accent!) This Thanksgiving was a full house this year with over 60 people on the compound. We were blessed to have an MC (Alan) who had a cute assistant, (Natalie) and a sense of humor. Alan made sure that all had a chance to taste the delights of a Galmi Thanksgiving. Of course those who sat at our table were disappointed to realize that they would be the last table to go up for food. Their patience was rewarded however when the "last shall be first and first shall be last" for the dessert course! :) It was really nice to be able to share a meal together, and hear about some of the thanksgivings of others for this past year. We did a Thanksgiving tree again this year, as it happened to be our turn again this year for Sunday service the Sunday before Thanksgiving. It was nice to go up to the tree, and see what others were thankful for. It is still my favorite holiday, and I am very thankful that next year we will get to enjoy it together with my family in Michigan. It will be 5 years since our last together. I hope that yours was a Happy Thanksgiving too!
