Dinner at "The Sahel"--11th January

Our last night in Niamey, after all of our packing was done, we went out for brochettes and fries at a restaurant that overlooks the Niger River. The sun was setting, and the dusty Harmattan was evident. The Harmattan winds blow from the north at this time of year, and it makes everything a "little" dusty. We have enjoyed our time in Niamey, but are glad to be moving on to Galmi. We will finally have a more permanent home. Samuel has never lived in one place consecutively for longer than 10 months (Quebec). Rachel has lived in Canada longer than any other place. Living in the same place for 2.5 years seems like a wonderful thing!

It's amazing that the time has finally come for your final destination! Praise the Lord! We are praying for you over here in Antarctica and enjoying the lovely pictures of your warm and dusty adventures.

The Lord's blessings to you and take good care, love in Christ,
