This is a common refrain since our new addition. Also commonly heard: "Can I kiss her/touch her/pet her??" I have tried to explain to Rachel that Natalie is not a dog or a cat and therefore we touch her, we don't pet her. It is slowly sinking in. Both Samuel and Rachel are thrilled with their new sister, and try to help whenever they can. They often put her pacifier back in her mouth when it pops out, or let me know that it needs a wash as it fell on the floor (they make sure I use filtered water, too.) With all of this "help", it is amazing the things one can accomplish!
