Oh my! Rachel is very much a girl. She loves to have her toenails polished, and is very interested in lipstick/chapstick. Grandma had to find a new hiding place for her stash of lipstick when we first arrived in Michigan, and just before we left, Rachel was a bit frustrated with my lack of cooperation in letting her wear chapstick or lipgloss. Needless to say, her option of Crayola marker blue wasn't a hit. She thought it was great until I scrubbed it off of her face. She couln't understand what the problem was. What are the teenage years going to hold??? Yikes! Thankfully here in Niger, there are few cosmetics available--except maybe in Niamey, and we don't get there very often. I'm sure that she will keep us on our toes

This one definitely makes me laugh.....but at the same time makes me shiver at the thought of what our little Micah is going to get into in the coming years!
Well, Audrey and Rachel are very much related :) Everytime Gabe gets out his markers Audrey "tattoos" herself, the floor and tables, books pretty much anything she can get her hands on as well as her lips. Although Audrey gets the marker on her lips from chewing on the marker (this comes from your brothers!!)
