Creative Kids!

One of the challenges that we have here in Niger is finding things to do for the kids, to keep them gainfully occupied, and not always in front of a DVD. As it was nearly Christmas, and I was in need of a bit more wrapping paper, I improvised and got the children to help out. We took a big piece of paper, and stamped up our own wrapping paper. The preferred colors this time were orange and purple. Not necessarily my choice for Christmas paper, but a huge success with the children. There were orange and purple stars, and orange and purple Christmas trees. The children had fun, and it helped me out in the process. They produced just enough paper to wrap their gifts in, and they loved opening the presents that had wrapping paper that they had made!!
