Last night, we had the priveledge of viewing a near complete lunar eclipse. The moon was probably 4/5 covered by the sun at the height of coverage. Neither of us had experienced a lunar eclipse before, and it was quite spectacular. It was even more amazing that we were able to capture it on camera! Many here are very superstitious about these things. Lots of drumming was heard. When these things occur, people believe that it is the end of the world, and drumming helps to try to convince the "gods" to change their mind.
